This article lists the PortalWX permissions of the Restaurants module and what each one lets an administrator do.
The Restaurants permission
Restaurants is the module permission. It opens Amenities ▸ Restaurants with the list of all restaurants added to PortalWX. Changing anything needs one of the sub-permissions below.
Sub-permissions
| Permission | What it lets the user do | Notes |

| Restaurants | See the list of all restaurants added to PortalWX. | Module permission – required for everything below. |
| Manage Restaurants | Create, edit or delete restaurants and set their information – contacts, opening hours and similar. | The full permission for whoever runs the restaurants section. |
| Manage Menus | Manage lunch menus and permanent menus. | Typical for restaurant staff who only update the menu. |
| Edit Restaurant Settings | Change only the settings, contacts and opening hours of restaurants that already exist. Cannot add new ones. | A narrower alternative to Manage Restaurants. |
