This article lists the PortalWX permissions of the People module and what each one lets an administrator do.
The People permission
People is the module permission. It opens the People menu and lets the administrator add people, edit their profiles, tag them, terminate them and set their permissions. It is also the only permission that allows changing other people's permissions – both mobile app and PortalWX ones – within the administrator's own company and its sub-companies. An administrator without People cannot grant anything to anyone.
Sub-permissions
| Permission | What it lets the user do | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| People | User management: add new people, edit profiles and tags, set their permissions for the mobile app and PortalWX, terminate profiles. | Module permission – required for everything below. |
| Export people | Export the list of people from PortalWX to an XLSX/CSV file. | |
| Import people | Import a list of people from a CSV file into PortalWX. | Available to Sharry administrators only; it is not offered to company administrators. |
| Manage Do-not-admit list | Add a person to the Do-not-admit list (immediately blocking their access to the workplace) or remove them from it – from the person's profile in People. | The same list can also be managed from the Guestbook with its own Manage Do-not-admit List permission. |
Good to know
- Deleting a user profile is available to Sharry administrators only. Company administrators terminate a user instead, which removes their permissions, access roles and badges.
- An administrator can only switch on permissions they hold themselves. Give the People administrator every permission they are supposed to hand out.
