This article lists the PortalWX permissions of the Company module and what each one lets an administrator do.

The Company permission

Company is the module permission. It opens the Companies menu and My company and lets the administrator see and change the basic information of their company and its sub-companies. Editing what a company may do – its Permissions tab – needs the sub-permission Manage Company Settings as well.

Good to know

  • Switching a permission off on a company switches it off for every sub-company and every person below, and a sub-company cannot switch it back on. Switching it back on restores what people had before.
  • A newly created sub-company starts with everything its parent company has.
  • The company's Permissions tab has one more section – Permissions for App users – which controls what the company's people may use in the mobile app.
